Celesse Legrand Bedroom, September 03rd , 2017. The Red Nest by French designer Paul Coudamy answers the seemingly impossible challenge of having a 23 square meter accommodate a bedroom, office and bathroom. The stylish modular solution is a generous sliding bookcase, concealing either the bed and dressing space or the desk and work area. The youthful design of this space-preserving “furniture complex”, with an intense glossy red coat of paint and a sense of speed is the piece you have dreamed of as a deprived student. The illusion of space is further achieved with tricks such as the use of mirrors, notably a 2 way mirror in the resonated concrete bathroom, concealing the tub and setting the degree of intimacy. Meanwhile, the fake vintage wardrobe door hiding the restroom is a poetic accent. Now who wouldn’t want to be a student for life with such an ingenious designer piece ? The Italians from Zalf are a renowned name when it comes to home décor. Their wide range of furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, teen rooms, offices and kid spaces is exhaustive. But those that managed to get our attention are the teen rooms. With their vibrant shades and hues, stylish low lying cushions, comfy chairs and vivid colors, they’re designed for both the teen and the adolescent.
Huguetta Pasquier Bedroom, September 05th , 2017. If you can, consider using a wardrobe unit with large sliding doors to continue the contemporary theme. Mirrored doors are a good idea if you’re restricted in terms of space – they’ll make the room seem much bigger. And resist the urge to add too many accessories to the room. If you take your time and pick out one or two statement pieces, this will have more impact than cluttering up your space with a number of items.
Chantrell Meunier Exterior, September 05th , 2017. The geometry of the City Villa is a very interesting one, being the defining feature of the design ARRCC created specifically for this project. This is a modern family home located in South Africa. Its design is a collection of rectangular volumes placed on top of each other. Some of these volumes cantilever to the sides, forming terraces. A stone wall contrasts with the concrete, adding texture and diversity to the design. Other contrasting elements include the brass front door which was custom designed and all the glass surfaces.
Lealia Lesage Bedroom, September 05th , 2017. Adhering to this tried and tested framework, we came up with a list of catchy bedroom designs which not only borrow from the conventional school of thought, but also add a innovative little twist that makes them unique and inimitable; making them audaciously creative and innovative, but, above all, quite simple to replicate and bring to life.
Chantay Clement Exterior, September 05th , 2017. The pools are created out of modified shipping containers measuring 8 x 20 ft (2.4 x 6 m). The design presents multiple advantages such as the fact that the structure can be relocated and transported to pretty much any location worldwide. In addition, a shipping container pool can be set up in minutes and it can also be enjoyed throughout the year thanks to the built-in heater. The heater can increate the temperature of the water to 30 degrees Celsius even in a -10 degrees Celsius temperature. A divider can be added if desired to transform a section of the pool into a hot tub. The installation of the pool is simple and can be done by local professionals or by the clients themselves. The ground needs to be prepped and Mudpools suggests two common and effective methods that can be used: a concrete slab or 8” of compacted gravel. Of course, lots of alternatives also exist.
Irene Arbore Bedroom, September 05th , 2017. This helps not only in eliminating a boring and at times, tedious look but also will present you with the option of removing or adding stuff with passage of time and depending on altering taste and necessities. The conventional design of a kid’s room is a space with fancy bed and bedspreads, cute wardrobes, vibrant colored tables and chairs, chunky book shelves along with a snazzy wall décor to ensure there is ample storage space on offer.
Chantrell Meunier Bedroom, September 05th , 2017. We know you would always prefer comfort and style over flashiness when it comes to duvet covers and shams. How about picking some with stripes and made of pure organic cotton? That’s double the fun, right? Stripes have always had a prominent role when it comes to fashion, be it on your body or for your home decor. Stuff made of pure organic cotton or a blend of cotton and linen has gained more fans all these years. When it comes to 100 percent cotton, it turns more exciting as you would always want to keep the ironing job for some other day.
Fleur Prevost Exterior, September 05th , 2017. It’s a bit tricky sometimes to choose a site for a new house. The views might be beautiful but they can’t always highlighted so before they bought this site in Särö, Sweden, the owners of this house wanted to make sure they could make the most of the location. The end result was just as envisioned: a beautiful house that opens to the views. It seems that everything is mirrored in the case of this residence designed by MU Architecture in Canada, everything except for the views that make each space feel like a natural part of the landscape, like an extension of the panorama that can be admired through the floor-to-ceiling windows on the ground floor.
Aiglentine Dupont Bedroom, September 05th , 2017. Space comes into play with the modern, minimalist look. In order to capture the airy feel of a penthouse apartment, you need to cut the clutter right back. A good way of doing so is to invest in a chic leather bed with drawers. These provide the luxurious modern look with room to hide away all your various bits and pieces. And if you want a large flat-screen TV in your room, look at bed options which will house the TV in the foot of the bed – it’s a great way to achieve the minimalist look.
Celesse Legrand Interior, September 05th , 2017. Dress up your bookshelf with some decaled backing or paint it right on the furniture if you want to flaunt some DIY skills. You can use this in the playroom or as a fun accent piece. This is another project you can dive into and try to DIY yourself with a bit of decopauging or find your own chevron piece out and about on your shopping adventures. Again you can find both throw and area rugs in neutral tones and popping colors, but either way you’ll provide interest to the floor and break up anything that’s too dull for your personality-filled home.
