This is pretty sweet

It's always cool to see your photos being used on a site you love, conveying the exact message you set out. This is pretty awesome, even though i missed it when it got posted but hey better late than never. Really great article and super awesome pictures, go check it out. When your done then go buy some prints, i will love you for it.

I THINK I MIGHT BE IN LOVE - with a camera

I miss cameras that fit in my pocket, i mean i have one but i hate having to do the whole film thing, i am kind of beyond that anymore. Especially when just shooting things like hanging out with your friends or random things for my blog (PMP). So Atom had one of these when he was in town last and i feel in love with it. The display on the back is like super huge, like tims tv, its awesome. Plus it hads lots of cool - manual (photo dork) controls that i love. If you need a whole review check out the one at DPREVIEW they usually don't make a whole lot of sense to me, im not a spec person, i usually have to play first, and well i did and now like i am in love. Wow its amazing how much like a little kid i sound in this post, sorry too much coffee, and sunshine.

Half 5 featured

Wow its been a few weeks since an update, time to break some out. Half 5 was featured recently in a nice treasury on ETSY.com. I am still working on some new photos to post there but been kind of taking a little break from shooting for fun. That however will be changing. Lots of new stuff in the gallery. Been out shooting bands and what not. Check it out and keep on checking back, lots more updates to come this month.

When When When was featured on Etsy. If you need holiday shopping ideas you should check out the site www.etsy.com. Lots of interesting stuff there, plus its all hand made and you are supporting an individual artist, not the MACHINE yo. I have a few SALES coming up so stay tuned for that, will annouce later this week, probably like friday. I have a few posts i want to get out and things updated on my end...

BTW the photo (when when when) was taken in or actually right outside of Sandpoint Idaho, we was in the mountains a bit and hangin fire side with a dog named Fred, who was supposed to be mean but he was cool. I wanted to take him home.

Back on the Horsey

Been kind of slow on the updates lately, sorry been busy. Lots of new arty photos in the works but won't be showing any of those until next year. Yes i know i am a tease. Sam Witt

Took pictures of Sam Witt for the bio pic for his latest book of poetry - Sunflower Brother. Actually did these awhile ago, like last year or so, but forgot he sent me the cover until i was looking through my google docs this morning. Sam didn't really like having his photo taken, so we had to do something. We walked to a nearby park, and i just told him to talk like he does to his students and pretend he is in class. And well after a few minutes of us walking through the park it worked. Had a lot of fun shooting these and he said he did as well. Glad they worked out. The Bikes are back

So yes they are back. YAY!! I was planing on taking a month off from shows, but doesn't look that way now. If you do get a chance to make it out there to see them, its a really cool display, Tim and I worked on it for like 2 hours. It's one huge wall filled with bikes in a huge square, just like the photos. I will get some photos next week, completely forgot my camera the other night. Big thanks to the guys and gals and Dean and Deluca, for finding me, for letting me hang, and just being really cool/nice people.

The Weeds Wonder series is still up at IMJ, and will be updating my calendar for the rest of the year in a few days, so you can see where else pappy pictures can be seen. Thanks to everyone who has been very supportive and helped me with leads or ideas for shows. And a big double love thanks to those people who purchase work from me, you keep me going, and i love you for it.

Fringe Festival Goings On

AptrickPhoto Trunkt

Decided to give Trunkt a shot, see what they can do for me. I do like the fact that they screen and are kind of selective about what they allow on their site, some of these other places need to institute this. There are some great photographers as well as other artists on Trunkt so check it out. Its a lot like etsy but the quality is way higher so you don't have to search that hard to find something great.

Weeds Wonders Gone

I usually take some photos of the shows but forgot about the weeds until the last day it was up. Sorry for you and sorry from me. Most of these are hanging at Imij though so you can still go see it. I think they come down end of this month.

So this is pretty cool, its always neat to see your name and pictures on some other website, especially when its a good one, and im not naked or being detained. A big thanks to Sarah (she wrote the thing) i think it looks great, you did a great job. Its good to know im not the only person on this dirt ball who thinks my pictures kick ass.

Another article on the PlanetReuse dudes, if you have no idea who or what their site is all about please check it out. They are good people with a great idea, and i have a feeling they will go far. We did this shoot months ago, i was paid in sushi, they were on a shoe string budget and also happen to be friends i can't really take money from. Check out the site and the articles.

The Bikes on Fox 4

Fox 4 did a special on Room 39 and Third Fridays and featured the bike show and me i think, at least they interviewed me. I was tired and nervous so might not be so good. I will definitely post a link when and if i find one. If you did catch it go ahead and comment and make fun of me i am okay with that. Thanks Fox 4 and Room 39.
