Prospect Park 2 by Joseph O Holmes

Can i just say wow - i love this picture by Joeseph O Holmes. I spent way too many days wondering around this park taking relief in the trees instead of being packed in all directions by people, it was the first place i found in NY that was freeing. Even when there was snow all over the place just like this photo i would still come here and sit for hours taking pictures and just wondering around its expanses. Tiny photographs of Melancholy

Even though its not quite the new year yet i am going to start this anyway. I want to start featuring other works here besides my own, people who inspire me, who keep me going, guessing and shooting. So here is the first of this kind. Paul is one of the first people i met on deviantart many years ago. I've always loved his style, the mood and feeling he brings to an image is completely fascinating to me.
