James Meierotto show

If you are or plan to be in Kansas City this month you should defiantly check this show out. It opens this Friday the 6th and will be up for the entire month. It is his first show, so go show some support. James is extremely talented and a really great person, and i really really like the way he SEEs aka his FOTOS. The show is hosted by Eljays River Market Coffeehouse and curated by well Yours Truly. This is the first of many great shows and artists i have lined up for this space this year. So drop by Friday night get a drink and get your chitter chatter on.

Sam Witt

Took pictures of Sam Witt for the bio pic for his latest book of poetry - Sunflower Brother. Actually did these awhile ago, like last year or so, but forgot he sent me the cover until i was looking through my google docs this morning. Sam didn't really like having his photo taken, so we had to do something. We walked to a nearby park, and i just told him to talk like he does to his students and pretend he is in class. And well after a few minutes of us walking through the park it worked. Had a lot of fun shooting these and he said he did as well. Glad they worked out. The Bikes are back

So yes they are back. YAY!! I was planing on taking a month off from shows, but doesn't look that way now. If you do get a chance to make it out there to see them, its a really cool display, Tim and I worked on it for like 2 hours. It's one huge wall filled with bikes in a huge square, just like the photos. I will get some photos next week, completely forgot my camera the other night. Big thanks to the guys and gals and Dean and Deluca, for finding me, for letting me hang, and just being really cool/nice people.

The Weeds Wonder series is still up at IMJ, and will be updating my calendar for the rest of the year in a few days, so you can see where else pappy pictures can be seen. Thanks to everyone who has been very supportive and helped me with leads or ideas for shows. And a big double love thanks to those people who purchase work from me, you keep me going, and i love you for it.

So this is pretty cool, its always neat to see your name and pictures on some other website, especially when its a good one, and im not naked or being detained. A big thanks to Sarah (she wrote the thing) i think it looks great, you did a great job. Its good to know im not the only person on this dirt ball who thinks my pictures kick ass.

We did this shoot months ago, i was paid in sushi, they were on a shoe string budget and also happen to be friends i can't really take money from. Check out the site and the articles.

Sorry for the lack of updates been busy working on a new website and a few other things i can not show you yet, due to national security and your eyes might just pop right out of your head and well thats kind of a lot of responsibility for me to handle so i just can't right now, but you get the idea. I finally found a copy

I finally found a copy or well 5 of them actually. Had to get one for my mammy. But yes it looks much better than i thought it would, Review used to be printed on newspaper stock now its all glossy and shiny - pretty great i must say pretty great. The Bikes @ Room 39

Just wanted to let everyone know that this show is up now, so please go check it out and have some great food. If you are not familiar with Room 39 check out their website at rm39.com . Will be doing a little something special later this week, since there is no opening reception for this, so keep posted. Also the weeds show is still up as of today, not sure when its coming down have not heard word yet so if you have not seen it please stop by and check it out.
